In these days there are a lot of different opinions from different Churches concerning the Government’s proposal that the church should be ordered to consecrate homosexuals. If we refer to God’s word it says that this kind of act is forbidden. Therfore this should not be imposed in the church.
I choose to look at this issue from a completely different perspective. The state Church has for 160 years been ran by the state, a secular authority, and it surprises me that one could live with such a constellation. Here I must say that the Bible warns against such a relationship. One must have been able to see that this at some point would end badly. That it has not occured until now, is almost a miracle. The same Bible that you use to convince non believers, government members, to the marriage of homosexuals as a bad idea, warns in general to make such a constellation as the church and state has lived with for 160 years.
2.Cor.6 v14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteous and wickedness have in common?Or what fellowship can light have with darkness. v15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
v16. What agreement is there between the temple of God and iodols? For we are the temple of the living God. v16 What is the connection between God’s temple and idols? For it is us who is the living temple of God, as God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God and theywilll be my people.
‘V17 So,” Therefore come out from them and be seperate says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing and I will receive you. I will be a father to you. and you will be my sons and daughters says the Lord Almighty. ”
My views of the church is that it is a congregation of believers who love Jesus Christ and can be hierarchically into His body, which is the congregation. The congregation serves Jesus with the spiritual gift he has given one. The costs associated with the congregation running, you pay tithes, just like in the Old Testament, where tithes were given to maintain the house of God. This involves not the state – but the Lord.
The challenge can only be that all Bible-believing Christians in the state church leave the church and form new assemblies for Biblical pattern and let the ungodly do what they will with the remains.: God himself has from time, been prepared for this situation when he wrote:
Revelation 22v11 Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong, let him who is vile continue to be vile, let him who does right continue to do right. and let him who is holy continue to be holy.
v12 ‘Behold, I am coming soon. My reward is with me and I will give to wveryone according to what he has done.
The times of homosexual marriages tells us that the time for Jesus’ second coming is near.
Matt. 24v37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the son of man.
V38 For in the days before the flood people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the Ark.
V39 And they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the son of man.
