Revelation 19:6

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and the loud peals of thunder, shouting Hallelujah!’for our Lord God Almighty reigns, v7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

v8. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.  Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints. v9.Then the angel saids to me, write’Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the lamb’and he added ‘These are the true words of the Lord’ ‘

A few Sundays ago there was a prophetic word, where God said to those people who were   already in heaven, who were standing before the Lord and praising his name. At the same time it sounded  like heaven was still lacking people.

It is us who are still alive, and who believe in God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ.

At the same time there are also those who have not yet come to believe,  but God in his providence, has already included them as his bride.   God spoke about that he has his special attention on  those who are  believers, still living on earth.

The time is coming to an end and God’s desire is  to bring his children  home, but he wants everyone to be present. Not missing anyone.

It is the congregation’s challenge today, to be an instrument in God’s hand and to reach out to that part of humanity,  who will say yes to Jesus and  will want to live for him, while being a witness to those who  choose to say no, but will still one day, acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Knowing that God hold a special attention on the church, should lead each one of us, having a longing and an expectation for the coming world, to live our lives in prayer and to ask God where he can  best use us as channels for him.

For our Lord God Almighty reigns,

v7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

There comes a day, when time as we know it, will come to a close and God himself will take power on earth.

Then it is time for The  Wedding of the Lamb, and you’re invited.
